I hope 2018 was a wonderful year for you, as it was for myself and SVM. I have some exciting updates, some great opportunities, and some next steps for us as a team!
My song "I'm Alive" has been the focus of much of this year for me. The fall quarter led to so many wonderful open doors and new ideas. Keep reading to see some of the great things God has accomplished!
In November, I got the chance to meet with the head of the Woodlands United Methodist Church choir, as well as Grammy award winning artist Brad Sayles, who will be assisting with the recording efforts at the church.
The choir will record its part of "I'm Alive" on February 10 - all will be volunteering their time and talents. Prayers would be greatly appreciated for this process!
Recording my vocals for "I'm Alive" in Nashville with known engineer, Russ Long, who has worked with artists such as Newsboys, Amy Grant, and Sixpence None the Richer.
Calah Paulo, who is an FFR long-term volunteer (and my music buddy) as well as Jay Cogley, my drummer, joined in the music video filming at the historic Brainerd Church and Schoolhouse in Sugarloaf, PA!
A new logo has been created for Sarah Vienna "I'm Alive" (pictured below)! Merchandise featuring the logo will be available for sale and proceeds will go back into the project. For more information or to pre-order shirts and other merchandise, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
With the funds that have come in, the song has been recorded, with vocals and instruments, and a professionally-filmed music video has been made which will be debuted in early spring. SVM is currently discussing marketing plans for "I'm Alive" with C.E.O, a global art and entertainment engine, based out of Nashville. The mission and vision of C.E.O. is to "connect purpose and art to positively impact culture."
We are so thankful for all the prayers, donations, and time our supporters have put into this project! I appreciate each one of you.
One of my favorite ways to inspire humanity is to reach out to high school students and share about the value of volunteering as well as encourage growing talents! SVM was blessed by the opportunity to sing and share at Immanuel Christian School in Hazleton, PA.
Leading worship for me is always an uplifting, joyful experience, especially when playing with the SVM Band at River Mountain Chapel in Hazleton, PA. Check out our worship version of "You Are So Beautiful."
You may remember that a radio interview happened in Germany in November - what a fabulous opportunity to share our mission and my song "Unwanted"! Click here to listen.
Photo from my Fall 2018 tour. I am currently setting up tour dates for 2019 - please get in touch with me to set up a tour stop in your area!
Be on the lookout in the next couple of months for the video teaser of "I'm Alive." Ask your churches, schools, groups, and Sunday Schools for opportunities for Sarah Vienna to sing and share!
We are also looking for sponsorship for marketing of "I'm Alive." Please contact me for more information.
Music is available on iTunes, Spotify, and for albums, www.sarahvienna.com
What a crew! It was an amazing day working together as a team for the music video filmed at the historic Brainerd Church in Sugarloaf, PA for my new for life song, “I’m Alive”. The heart of the song is about an unborn speaking to his or her mother saying, “Give me a chance; I’m Alive.”. The song and video, as well as t-shirts will be available early Spring of 2019!
Be The Voice For The UnBorn Baby. Merchandise to support the project and purpose coming soon!
GERMANY TOUR UPDATE
Thank you for all your support, love, and prayers, as the 2018 tour in Germany went incredibly well. Sarah and Steffi were able to raise funds, recruit volunteers, while making new friends and contacts for who support FFR's mission. Three newspapers posted an article about the tour as well!
Sarah had many highlights from the tour, including:
"One big highlight for me was sharing a sermon at the Christus Gemeinde Pforzheim on Spiritual Adoptions based off from Romans 8:14-17 and Ephesians 4:4-7. We were all spiritual orphans until we became spiritually adopted through the Holy Spirit by our Heavenly Father.
Leading worship singing Amazing Grace in three languages, English, German, and Romanian was a test of my language skills! Thank God singing in a different language is easier than speaking it at times!
Singing "My Home Brasov" and seeing the Romanians in the audience whose home town is Brasov was very touching for me. It was a heart to heart moment of love and appreciation for the beauty of this city. Moments like these on stage will never be forgotten."
Special thanks to Steffi Vogel for the amazing job she did translating from English to German, as well as sharing about FFR's projects and needs. Steffi has such a great way of making people feel appreciated and loved.
Thanks also goes out to all who hosted and organized for this tour, as well as to the musicians and German Ambassadors who assisted with concerts and presentations. It could not have been done without you!
We received some encouraging feedback while in Germany!
"I grew up in an orphanage and I was very touched by how you are reaching out to the orphans and abandoned children."
"Your sermon on ‘spiritual adoption’ really touched us as a family. We adopted years ago from Romania but we never talk about it at home. It was very important for our son to hear your message."
"Her lyrics reflect the work and experiences she has with the children in Romania. Images and video clips about her work with the children in Romania were combined in a powerful way with the lyrics and music."
"She made clear the big need in Romania but also to show the hope that is there through the work that [Firm Foundations Romania] does. Pictures and lyrics went deep in the hearts of the ones who came to the concert."
"I haven’t been back to Brasov in over 17 years but your song ‘My Home Brasov’ changed something in my heart and I believe you will see me back in Brasov soon."
"I feel this is the start of something big."
I'm Alive: An Update!
Sarah sang "I'm Alive" for the first time to German audiences this fall - and what great timing as we have reached our fundraising goal and will be able to progress with recording and filming!
The Woodlands United Methodist Church choir will join the recording efforts in what should be an incredible arrangement. Vocals will be recorded in Nashville around the end of November, and the video will be filmed in Pennsylvania in the beginning in December. Prayers would be appreciated for these events and for the future of the song as it moves forward to serve the voiceless.
For more information, please contact email@example.com.
Sarah Vienna will return to the United States in February, 2019, for another tour. If you are interested in having Sarah come to your church, venue, or simply sing and share in your own living room, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Save the date!
Guten Tag zusammen,
We love getting to know our volunteers! Hearing their stories is so inspiring, and seeing how they love the babies is such a beautiful thing.
Josephine was recently volunteering with us for a few weeks and shared with us how she ended up with FFR and a little about her experiences with the babies. We were so touched by her story, and we hope that those of you who watch this little interview will be encouraged and inspired to step out and give back, no matter your age.

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.” Psalm 95:1
I’ve been introducing myself as the “singing philanthropist,” a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others through music. Over the past six weeks, I’ve been sharing the message of hope and redemption across the East Coast. Joined by wonderful musicians, as well as my colleague Mary Buckalo who is the secretary of FFR, we have seen God working through the concerts and presentations. I’m overwhelmed by the graciousness of people who have donated towards FFR’s programs, as well as offered their prayer support to help transform the lives of Romanian children.
If you recently signed up to follow the journey, thank you. We are a big family in Christ, and we are “in this together!” (Seeds For Destiny). Enjoy the music video!
It was one of the fastest paced radio interviews I ever had! What fun!
Leading worship is such a joy for me, especially singing in such a historic church setting as Park Street Church Boston located right off the Freedom Trail in Boston city center. God opened up this opportunity for me, and it will be one I will never forget!

I remember I said over two years ago that I could never lead worship. I felt inadequate, not Holy enough, nor confident to lead others to express their love for Jesus through music. Now, going on two years of leading worship at Brasov Calvary Chapel and in churches and venues around the world, it is what I look forward to each Sunday. It feels so different than a performance when I am in front of others with my guitar, rather I feel one with everyone, especially the Holy Spirit. I am very grateful to God for His gift of music to me! Praise you Jesus!
Wow! This was almost 15 years ago when Steffi Vogel and I first starting taking Roxi out from the Brasov orphanage over weekends. I remember taking this photo to show my family this beautiful little girl that is now 15 years old! God has led me on such an amazing journey so far. He only asks us to trust, love, and follow His calling. #iwillgo
A song Sarah and Steffi wrote about a 3 year old Romanian orphan boy wanting one more hug before we left his room. Do you relate to this song?
Leading worship at Brasov Calvary Chapel has been a great joy for me over the past year. My joy was increased when a guest band named, "Run With Patience" join our service time where we sang Blessed Be Your Name in Romanian.
